What is Homeling?+
Homeling is one tool for the age-verification transition that hit the regulated internet at once. A single verified-age credential, the Homeling ID, powers three products: Verify, a drop-in age gate for sites; Family, gentle alerts and setup help for parents; and Space, a safer social app for under-16s.
How does Homeling Verify work on my site?+
You add one line of code and the age gate is live the same day. It picks the cheapest method that works for each visitor, auto-switches between UK, Australian and US rules, and your site never sees or stores an ID document.
Does Homeling store ID documents?+
No. Verification produces a privacy-preserving age token, the Homeling ID, and the underlying document is never stored. When a service checks it, the service gets a yes or no, never your data.
What is a Homeling ID and why does it span three products?+
You verify once, either a parent vouches or a certified provider checks, and get one age credential. Verify, Family and Space all read the same credential, so you do not re-verify for each one. That shared credential is the point, not any single app.
What can Homeling Family see, and what can it never see?+
Family alerts you to behaviour: which app and for how long, a new app installed or a blocked one opened, and when your child's Homeling ID is used at an age gate. It never reads their messages, never tells you what they watched, and never hides any of it from your child, who sees the same dashboard you do.
What is Homeling Space?+
Space is a real social app for under-16s, rebuilt around the people a child actually knows: circles for their class, team and club, a friends-only feed with no algorithm, and vetted creators to follow. Everyone is age-verified, parents provision the account and approve connections, and there are no stranger DMs, no ads and no data sale.
Is age verification actually required and enforced?+
Yes. The Online Safety Act age-assurance duty went live on 25 July 2025, and Ofcom is enforcing it with real fines, not just warnings. The
enforcement section above lists the penalties Ofcom has already issued, each linked to its decision on the public record.
What happens to a site that does not verify age?+
Ofcom can fine it up to £18M or 10% of turnover, whichever is higher. It has already fined several providers, the largest £1.35M so far, and as of its March 2026 bulletin had 76 services under investigation for age-assurance failures. The

How much does Homeling cost?+
Everything self-serve is included free right now. Later, Verify moves to usage-based pricing and Family becomes a child-safety subscription. Space stays free for kids, funded by Verify and Family. Final prices will be set from what we learn from early users, and everyone gets plenty of notice before any price switches on.
